RULES OF PLAY

 

By entering Jungle Mayhem you accept the following Rules of Entry:
 
 
1) All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult, over the age of 18, who must remain within the building at all times. Jungle Mayhem does not accept responsibility for the supervision of children.
 
2) Only children who are under 4’10” or 148cm in height may play. Children over this height may play only at the discretion of staff. Parents may accompany children on the equipment.
 
3) Age restrictions vary dependant on the play zone that visitors are using. These are in place for the safely and enjoyment of all children.
 
4) Play is restricted to 2 hours.
 
5) SHOES MUST BE REMOVED BEFORE ENTERING THE PLAY AREA. SOCKS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES, BY BOTH CHILDREN AND ADULTS. Anyone not wearing socks risk serious injuries plus health & safety risks. Socks are available at reception.
 
6) Children and adults are advised to wear long trousers and long sleeved shirts on the play equipment, to minimise risk of personal injury. Clothes should be tucked in at all times. Clothes with ropes and cords should not be worn in the play area.
 
7) Children should use the toilet and wash their hands before entering the play area. Children must be supervised in the toilets at all times.
 
8) No sharp objects or sources of ignition may be taken into the play area.
 
9) Spectacles should only be worn if used with a retainer and shatter proof lenses.
 
10) For their safety, we ask that you ensure your children do not climb the slides, or play in front of the slide exits as this will result in injury
 
11) It is forbidden to climb on the netted walls or the system structure.
 
12) Balls or other objects must not be thrown at each other. Footballs must remain in the sports zone area.
 
13) Food (including crisps, raisins, sweets) and drinks are not allowed on the play equipment. We request that food and drink consumption be limited to the café eating area.
 
14) Only food and drink purchased from our restaurant may be consumed on the premises, however, it is permitted to bring food and drink for babies under 1 years old. You may use the microwave oven to heat your little one's baby food/milk but we cannot accept responsibility for the temperature of the food after you have heated it. Please check carefully.
 
15) Chewing gum is strictly prohibited in Jungle Mayhem.
 
16) In the interests of Health and Safety, please ensure that any food debris which falls on the floor is picked/wiped up as soon as possible. Report any spillages to a member of staff.
 
17) It is forbidden to smoke (including electronic cigarettes) within Jungle Mayhem. Smoking is not permitted within 10 metres of the main entrance.
 
18) Children who are unwell, or who have been unwell, should not visit the centre for at least 48 hours. 
Any children who become unwell in the centre, must leave the centre immediately.
 
19) Fighting, bullying, abusive, aggressive, or any type of behaviour deemed to be unsuitable towards Jungle Mayhem Staff, management, or other members of the public, from either children or adults, will not be tolerated under any circumstances. 
Management reserve the right to enforce total bans.
 
20) Report all accidents to a member of staff, to ensure that we can provide any necessary assistance and minimise the potential of reoccurrence. These will be logged and are an important part of ongoing safety audits.
 
21) Please report any damage to Jungle Mayhem property to a member of staff.
 
22) For hygiene reasons please do not change nappies in the public area; please use the baby change facilities provided. Nappy changing and the use of potties etc. must be conducted in the toilets (baby changing is available in the Ladies Toilets and the Disabled Toilets). Please ensure all nappies are placed in the correct bin provided.
 
23) Management reserve the right to refuse entry.
 
24) We suggest that you leave all valuables at home. We cannot accept liability for any loss or theft that may occur.
 
25) Children that have NOT paid to play are NOT permitted to play on any of the soft play equipment, including the sports zone area. 

26) Please adhere to separate Covid-19 guidelines.

 
 
Parents / guardians must:
 
• Accept full responsibility to supervise their children at all times
 
• Observe their children to ensure that they are capable of using the equipment safely
 
• Explain these rules of play to the children and monitor their behaviour.

For the safety and supervision of all visitors and staff Jungle Mayhem operates a full digital CCTV system. Images are recorded and stored for future reference. Images are not available for general public viewing but may be given as and when requested by the Police or a Legal Professional.

The Jungle Mayhem team supervise the play equipment to help maximise your children’s enjoyment from the play experience, they are not however, a replacement for parental supervision. Parents/Guardians should note that whilst every consideration has been given for the safety of children using the play centre, Jungle Mayhem cannot be held responsible for accidents which occur as a result of children playing on the equipment. Jungle Mayhem are unable to accept responsibility or liability for loss or injury caused through the misuse of equipment or lack of supervision by a parent/guardian.
